College Boy Jesse

College Boy Jesse, the reigning International Groovy Soca Monarch is a talented young artist from Trinidad and Tobago. Born Jesse Stewart, he has been performing since the age of seven. Jesse has several songwriting credits with some of the region’s most celebrated artists including Alison Hinds, Machel Montano, and Skinny Fabulous. An avid athlete he was selected to play on Trinidad and Tobago’s National Football team whereas the only university student on the squad, where he got his name “College Boy.” In 2020 Jesse won the Groovy Soca Monarch title in his first entry in the International Soca Monarch Competition, the ultimate prize in soca music with his refreshingly optimistic anthem the “Happy Song”. In 2021 he earned his newest accolade “Artiste of the Year” by the digital music analyst company The Soca Source. In 2022, he produced his first live concert “Soca Love Story”. Now a household name, College Boy Jesse is intent on expanding his audience globally.
