LMD Event: Cantando Gloria 2 – Los Alumnos Through the Years
This concert is created as a musical expression of “Who” Los Alumnos de San Juan is. Through musical interpretation, we will show “who we are” and “what we have done” to achieve our acclaim during our musical journey. Each aspect presented, will act as a character representation that will showcase the differences in our personality as an entity, one band, and one family.
It serves as a celebration of all we have learnt, our influences and the dedicated guidance of those who have steered us to this place, including our founder Mr. Denzil Lyons. The memory of our beloved leader Mr. Wayne Jagdeo will also surround us, as we continue to express through his language of “excellence in service” the joy and love of la parranda. “It is our gift of parang to the nation”
