LMD Event: Kern Sumerville and the Sensational Band

Kern Sumerville and The Sensational Band is a modern take on the brass band. Influenced by Joey Lewis and his method of band structure and repertoire; this brass band aims to reintroduce the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago to the sweet notion of an all-encompassing band. This event will showcase an extension of the creative works of Kern Sumerville. With a wide range of popular pieces transcribed especially for brass instruments, this show will also feature original pieces by Mr. Sumerville. The sensational band is comprised of 1 tenor saxophonist, 2 alto saxophonists, 2 trumpeters, 2 trombonists, a keyboardist, a guitarist and a bassist, all playing to the smooth rhythms of one drummer.
