Marcus Braveboy aka Braveboy (former stage name Mark Hardy) is a singer, songwriter, marketing consultant and entrepreneur, hailing from the beautiful twin island of Trinidad & Tobago. He is known locally for partnering with Trinibagonian rapper Yung Rudd and producer Mevon Soodeen of Xplicit Entertainment to create a new genre called Trapso music, which gained a lot of popularity on the island from 2013-2016, birthing hits such such as “Pumpin”, “Nah Boy”, “Mood” and “Iz Ah Trini”. He is also known for his dancehall fused collaborations with fellow Trini artist Stef Kalloo and also toured the island with rock band, 5 Miles To Midnight. In 2016, he worked with popular EDM dj/producers Bad Royale touring with them in the U.S, and performing at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago with their hit single “Galaxy Ranger”. Braveboy has continued to release music globally and to date has collaborated with artists and producers in over 20 countries around the world. Braveboy is also the CEO and chief consultant of his own social media marketing agency IKE (I Know Everybody) Consulting Ltd, co-owner of clothing/lifestyle brand Addicted To Progress, Music licensing website Content Island, and also recently started his own record label Bravehouse Music Group.
