Short Bio
Emerging in 1999, Trinidad & Tobago, Rich Hall blends rock, alternative rock, pop, synth pop, electropop, post rock, house, trance and edm into a genre-defying sound.
Rich Hall is a singer, songwriter, musician, arranger,
and producer hailing from the vibrant twin-island republic of Trinidad & Tobago.
Rooted in the genres of Rock, AOR (Album-Oriented Rock), Post-Punk, and Pop,
Rich’s musical journey spans decades, showcasing his passion for creating timeless melodies and powerful arrangements.
Rich began his musical career in 1987 as a keyboardist in local bands,
quickly establishing himself as a gifted and versatile musician within the Trinidadian music scene.
His talent and dedication eventually led him to become a member of one of Trinidad & Tobago’s most successful fusion rock bands in the early 2000s,
securing a record deal that placed the group on the international stage.
During this time, Rich and this band had the honor of sharing stages with a stellar lineup of globally acclaimed artists,
including Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force, King’s X, Adema, Evanescence, Kansas, Dokken, Warrant, Skid Row, Night Ranger, Blue Öyster Cult,
Scorpions, Lifehouse, Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries), Duncan Sheik, Steel Pulse, Maxi Priest, and many more.
As the music industry evolved with the rise of the internet and digital downloading,
Rich decided to take a hiatus to explore other professional ventures.
However, his love for music remained unwavering. The unexpected pause brought by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 reignited his creative spark.
In isolation, Rich returned to his roots, experimenting with melodies and arrangements using the tools available at home.
This period of self-reflection and creativity birthed a series of new songs that quickly gained recognition, earning airplay on local radio stations
and finding their way into regular rotation.
With a renewed energy and a fresh perspective, Rich Hall is now preparing to release a collection of new music in the year ahead.
His upcoming material reflects the depth of his experience, blending his signature and nostalgic melodic hook laden sound with vintage and modern influences
and heartfelt storytelling.
Rich Hall’s music journey is a testament to resilience, evolution, and the enduring power of creativity.
Whether crafting powerful anthems or introspective ballads, he continues to push the boundaries of his artistry,
connecting with audiences across generations.
